Our mission at Second Steps is to enhance the lives of those in need by working together to inspire the children in our care, empower families, and strengthen our community. We provide the children a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment that will give them the opportunity to participate in a wide range of hands-on experiences from which to grow through exploration and creativity. We provide nutritious, well-balanced meals served for breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.

We are a state-licensed childcare facility that provides services to Lafayette House clients aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and subsidy-eligible families with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.-
